Ken Latino
Ken is the Managing Director of Prelical Solutions, LLC, bringing decades of hands‑on Maintenance and Reliability experience across both continuous process and batch manufacturing environments. Throughout his career at Meridium, WestRock, and GE, he has helped asset‑intensive organizations increase production, reduce maintenance costs, and strengthen safety and environmental performance.
His technical depth spans Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Reliability Improvement Work Processes, Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), and the broader spectrum of Asset Performance Management (APM). Ken has led major reliability initiatives, trained thousands of practitioners, and supported organizations in building sustainable, high‑performance work systems.
Ken also has extensive expertise with SAP EAM and GE Digital (Meridium) APM, where he has designed and implemented enterprise‑level work processes and digital tools that improve asset performance and decision‑making. His contributions include systems for tank integrity management, motor management, RCA, paper machine roll management and history, maintenance budget forecasting and analysis, and numerous other reliability‑focused solutions.
Bob Latino
Bob Latino is a Principal at Prelical Solutions, LLC and the former CEO of Reliability Center, Inc. (RCI), a company founded, owned, and led by the Latino family from 1972 until its acquisition in 2019. He is an internationally recognized author, trainer, software developer, lecturer, and practitioner in the field of holistic Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
With more than 40 years of global experience, Bob has facilitated countless RCA investigations and trained over 10,000 professionals across 25+ countries in the PROACT® RCA Methodology and its supporting software tools. He is the author or co‑author of seven books on RCA, FMEA, and Human Error Reduction, and has published more than 100 articles and papers in both manufacturing and healthcare domains.
Bob currently serves on the Board of Directors for CHOL (Community of Human and Organizational Learning). He also serves as the Series Editor and Reliability Engineering Specialist for CRC Press/Taylor & Francis. His series, Reliability, Maintenance, and Safety Engineering: A Practical View of Getting Work Done Effectively, continues to welcome new authors who share a passion for practical, real‑world reliability improvement.
